FELT PIANO DREAMS

Felt Piano Dreams is an introspective musical experience that invites the audience to lay down and rest, or sit comfortably, while listening to an uninterrupted set of original felt piano music. A relaxed atmosphere and low lighting create an environment suitable for people who might avoid a louder, brighter, more overwhelming musical event. Listeners are encouraged to bring yoga mats, pillows, and/or other comfort items, but I can also provide a handful of foam mats for laying down. This show is a great fit for venues that have a few comfy chairs or couches, but that’s not a necessity. The show also has the potential to encourage conversations about rest, openness, access, intimacy, and other themes. If desired, I can engage with the audience before and/or after the performance on these themes through questions and discussion.
