After Rest is a musical experience presented by composer Lauren Sonder that invites the audience to rest and dream about restful spaces. Discussion bookends a candlelit set of original piano music, which can be experienced lying down or comfortably seated. At the heart of the evening are two questions: what is a restful space, and what comes next when we allow ourselves to rest?
