WHAT IS FELT PIANO DREAMS?

Felt Piano Dreams is a dreamy, introspective musical experience that invites the audience to lay down and rest, or sit comfortably, while listening to original felt piano music. A relaxed atmosphere and low lighting create a environment suitable for people who might avoid a louder, brighter, more overwhelming musical event. Listeners are encouraged to bring yoga mats, pillows, and/or other comfort items, but I can also provide a handful of foam mats for laying down. This show is a great fit for venues that have a few comfy chairs or couches, but that’s not a necessity. Felt piano is a technique where a piece of felt is placed between the hammers and strings to create a muted, intimate sound. My personal sound is created from sampled felt piano plus effects:
